A new Crimson Desert update is upon us, adding everything from a cute Baby Wyvern as a pet that will eventually transform into a mount to the ability for Kliff to wield muskets and shotguns.
Already standing as one of the biggest new games of 2026, it’s hard to imagine Pearl Abyss adding even more to Crimson Desert – but, thankfully, the developer continues to do so.
The last patch was quite a massive one, all things considered, too, tackling endgame emptiness even further with five more boss rematches, extra mounts, and new skills. Another Crimson Desert update is upon us now, although it’s arguably a bit smaller.
Smaller in size, that is, but not in impact. As per the latest patch notes from Pearl Abyss, this Crimson Desert patch is quite simple: it “adds a pond and a Baby Wyvern as a new pet, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements.”
If you ask me, that’s a pretty big (and very adorable) deal – but it’s not the only thing to land in the open-world game today. There are 20 species of small animals to look out for.
And not only are Baby Wyverns taking our side, but they’ll “be able to grow and be registered as mounts in a future update, so stay tuned.” As for Wild Wyverns, they “can now be temporarily used as mounts after being subdued.” My dragon-loving self is absolutely thrilled to hear it, honestly.
The patch isn’t entirely wyvern and creature-shaped, however. Pearl Abyss has also graced us with a new slot to equip tools. These include the logging axe, mallet, shovel, broom, scythe, pickaxe, drill/chainsaw, and fan.
Kliff can now use muskets and shotguns, too, while Damiane and Oongka get a skill equivalent to the “Focused Aerial Roll.” There’s a lot more as well, ranging from fixes that are more significant to more minor quality-of-life tweaks, so I’d recommend checking the patch notes out fully – and keeping an eye on whatever’s next from Pearl Abyss.
Hopefully, this inspires folks to finish the game – as it stands, only 6.8% of players have completed the main story on Steam… but everything’s easier with a Baby Wyvern by your side.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
