GXG 2026, a gaming culture festival where visitors can enjoy various cultures related to gaming, opened on September 11. The event is hosted by Seongnam City and co-organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Game Culture Foundation.
On the first day, September 11, the GXG 2026 opening ceremony was held starting at 6:00 p.m. Lee Ju-yeon, President of the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, and Yoo Byung-han, Chairman of the Game Culture Foundation, took the stage to declare the opening of GXG 2026.
Following the opening declaration, a celebratory performance by Dynamic Duo took place. A massive crowd packed the venue shoulder to shoulder to watch the festive concert. Passersby heading toward Pangyo Station also stopped in their tracks to enjoy the performance held in the plaza together.
